Who pays for the Services?
If you are confined to your home and need intermittent Skilled Nursing, Physical
Therapy, or Speech Therapy, Medicare pays 100% of qualifying services furnished
in the home when ordered by a physician, even if the patient has not been
hospitalized.
Who Bills Medicare?
We do . . . it’s that simple! You do not need to worry about insurance
forms or money. And remember, you pay nothing for home health care ordered
by your doctor.
What does Medicare pay for?
- Skilled Nursing Care
- Physical Therapy
- Speech Therapy
In addition, Medicare can also pay for any other necessary services such as:
- Occupational Therapy
- Home Health Aide Services
- Medical Social Services
- Medical Equipment (80% is covered)
What about Medi-Cal?
Some additional assistance may also be available from Medi-cal for those
who qualify.
Is Private Insurance accepted?
You may have health insurance with a private insurance company. The benefits
provided by these plans vary greatly from policy to policy. We recommend
that you clarify with your insurance agent if your health insurance policy
covers home health services.
For those who have long-term care insurance, home health care is most likely
covered. We will clarify your coveerage and and with you to maximize your
benefits.
What about Private or Self-Pay?
Yes, we accept private or self-pay. You may call our office anytime to inquire
about our professional rates, and we will work with you as best we can
to accommodate your needs.
